Cameras and live TV
Live video cameras
EHW keeps a short, hand-checked list of public live streams. A stream is shown only when it is live and can be embedded at that moment. EHW never offers a player that turns out to be an old recording or an error screen.
Still photo cameras
Road and city cameras publish a still photo every few minutes. EHW relays them from 15 open-data operators:

A hurricane or tropical storm tracked by the US National Hurricane Center also gets a view from space: NOAA's GOES satellite follows the storm and redraws the picture about every ten minutes. It covers the Atlantic and the east and central Pacific only.
Cameras appear on an event's detail panel, in a country panel and in Your Area, whenever one is near enough to be useful. Each operator's licence and attribution is on the terms page.
Live TV
The news section has a live TV player. It can also be docked over the map from its LIVE TV button. It plays one channel at a time, and stays closed until you open it. The channels are listed on the terms page.
