Privacy
- EHW runs no analytics or tracking scripts of its own. It keeps one hashed count of daily visitors.
- The server's logs strip query strings, so a location you search for is not recorded.
- Cookies are set only for an account's sign-in.
- There are no ads and no paid plans.

The code
EHW's source code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 or later.
The data
Every data source EHW uses is named on the terms page, with its licence and the attribution it requires. Examples include ODbL for adsb.lol and OpenStreetMap, CC BY 4.0 for GeoNames and MET Norway, and CC BY-SA 4.0 for the GEM fault database.
