All polling happens on the server, on a fixed schedule per source. The interval is how often EHW asks. A source may publish less often than that.

A few further feeds run only when the operator holds credentials for them, such as orbital tracking from Space-Track and air raid alerts for Ukraine.

- MET Norway: forecasts for Your Area and country panels.
- Copernicus Climate Pulse: daily world sea and air temperature for the climate section.
- NASA PMM Publisher: 3-day satellite rainfall (GPM IMERG) and the LHASA landslide nowcast for the monsoon tracker, refreshed at most hourly.
- IODA: internet outages for the map layer.
- Polymarket: prediction markets in country panels.
- Cameras: see Cameras and live TV.
